A true leader realizes he doesn’t have the luxurious, of procrastinating, and/ or, sitting – back, and waiting/ hoping, for somebody else, to do it! Effective leadership requires, rather, proactive, focused, well-considered, ACTION, based on an intensive examination, and consideration of, the values of the organization, as they relate to the requirements, goals, perceptions, and priorities of its stakeholders and constituents! Although many, either, are elected, selected, and/ or ascend, to certain positions, only a few become genuine leaders! With that in mind, this blog will commit to, briefly, consider, examine, review, and discuss, using the mnemonic approach, what this means and represents, and why it’s such an important behavior.
- Attention; aptitude; action plan; attitude; articulate: One must be prepared, and, thus, pay keen attention, to what, is needed, and necessary, at this specific, point, in time! After quite four decades of private involvement, in nearly all aspects of leadership, from identify and qualifying, to training and developing, also as serving, several times, as a pacesetter, I feel strongly, only a professionally designed, leadership educational program, will offer individuals, the aptitude, knowledge, and skillset, to make the best decisions! However, unless this is often accompanied by, a positive, can-do, attitude, will someone articulate the kind of positive, inspiring, motivating message, to attract others! After strategic planning, a true leader perceives and conceives, creates, develops, implements, and effectively uses, the best action plan!
- Character; create; coordinate: the standard of one’s character, combined with the willingness, and ability, to create, something, of – value, and differentiates a real leader, from the remainder – of – the – pack! Real leader’s revolution, ready, willing, and ready to coordinate, the simplest path, into the future!
- Trust/ true; timely; time – tested: instead of wasting time, throwing the baby, out with the bathwater, and trying to reinvent the wheel, it’s wise effectively, take advantage of the time – tested, applicable techniques, and ideas, which make a difference, for the better! So as to earn the trust, a leader must consistently, tell the truth! There’s no room for procrastination, when well – considered, timely action, is, called – for!
- Ideas; integrity; innovate; imagine: it is the responsibility of a real leader, to introduce relevant ideas, focused on innovating, when called – for, and having a relevant imagination, to examine things, as they might be! Nothing counts, unless/ until, someone proceeds, with genuine, absolute integrity.
- Options; opportunities; organized: There’s almost always, quite one option, and/ or, alternative! It’s knowing to prepare to acknowledge opportunities or to create one’s own opportunity when needed. When one proceeds in an organized way, the possibility of efficiency and success is enhanced!
- Needs; nuances; niche; niceties: Addressing needs, goals, and priorities, additionally because the specific, nuances, of the group, and understanding its niche, are essential responsibilities, and necessities! Only if this technical knowledge, is accompanied, with using the niceties, others appreciate, brings forth, the best degree of leading!
